007.0140         OUT-OF-STATE STUDENT FEES

 

1.0       An out-of-state student is one whose parents or legal guardians live outside of the State of Utah.

 

2.0       Out-of-state students may be enrolled by a principal only after being approved by the District Pupil Personnel Director.

 

3.0       The fee for out-of-state students will be actual cost per student as indicated in the previous year’s audit report of the school attended, minus any amount provided by the State and Federal for his/her schooling.

 

4.0       Out-of-state fees may be prorated on the basis of 1/100 for each day the student will be enrolled in Uintah County School District.

 

5.0       Out-of-state students may not be counted in determining the State contribution from the Uniform School Fund unless they meet guideline requirements adopted by the State Board of Education.
